whatever you call them depending on where you look!

My trusty pair from White Stuff a few years ago have now "died". I have plenty of pairs of proper sports ones that are "nylony" and clingy that I use for pilates etc but what I want is a nice pair for relaxing at home that are decent enough to pop out to the shop in. ie. not clingy but equally I dont want thick cotton sweatshirt type ones either!

They are not an easy thing to shop for on line as it's impossible to tell the thickness so I wondered if you ladies had any favourites?

Get another pair from Whitestuff. Seriously. I have a pair that's 8 years old now. Been worn to death and are on their way out. Just invested in another pair and I love them. Flattering, comfy, hard wearing.

TK Maxx always have a nice selection. I have an Elle pair from there (I'm sporting them now, in fact).

SpringyReframed · 13/03/2013 22:47

BrendaBlethyn · 13/03/2013 22:49

There are some nice ones in Whistles atm.

carrie74 · 13/03/2013 23:13

These: www.sweatybetty.com/page/find/?name=Unwind&page=1

But only when there's a sale / good code around. I'm actually wearing them at the moment in bed, cos it's so flicking cold, but take them to change not on long haul flights etc, they're a great pair of trews. Mine are 2 years old, still look as good as new.

TSSDNCOP · 13/03/2013 23:14

I have a pair of Hollister skinny jiggers in navy.

Beyond comfy, I have lived in them for 3 months.

I can lend you my head torch Grin

TSSDNCOP · 13/03/2013 23:15

Jiggers?? JOGGERS!!!

snoworneahva · 14/03/2013 06:28

These hareem pants from next are lovely - comfy and flattering.

gregssausageroll · 14/03/2013 08:03

I stocked up from primark. I have hard surgery can can't wear anything else at the moment. Working fine for me, washing well and comfy.

Annianni · 14/03/2013 09:13

I second the sweaty betty recommendation. I bought 3 pairs in the sale when ds1 was a toddler (he's now 9) I wear my favourite pair on average once a week and they still look like new.

I've had cheapy sainsburys ones that look bad within a few washes.

QueefLatina · 14/03/2013 09:18

I have my eye on these

and these

sweetheart · 14/03/2013 09:36

I have a pair from Gap that are perfect - they are lightweigh material which hangs perfectly, they have a roll top and a tie coard round the ankles so they can be worn loose or tight. I've just searched the website for them and I can't find them so they must have sold out but might be worth a look in store.

Eskino · 14/03/2013 09:43

these

Nice and thick. I bought them for post c-section and they're soooo comfy

foxysocks · 14/03/2013 09:48

i have some white co grey jersey ones that are five yrs old and still look new, also lululemon (think they are/were called 'still pant') which are even older.

i also love my juicy trackies, don't care a jot that they are WAGish i adore them Grin

I have these in all 3 colours, they sound just like what you are after, I am tall and they are lovely and long, not too clingy and a really flattering shape.
