DD1 wants them, which means that the other 2 will follow, so I'm trying to find the most frugal way to get them.

They're pretty much the same price anywhere, IME (for genuine, brand new ones). Around £40.

I lied about the price. We all usually have low tops, which are indeed £40 ish. High tops in adult sizes are nearer £50, but kids' sizes are cheaper. About £30, it would seem, for the standard ones up to about size 2.

I've never paid more than about £25. Amazon/Javari and Office often have them on sale

Can't stand Uggs, they know not to even ask.

converse are on brandalley today. haven't checked prtices today but hgave bought converse from there in the past with a good discount.

TK Maxx often have them for £25 or less.

In my local tkmaxx just now £21 I think

I only buy mine in TK Maxx, no more than £25 and usually unusual ones too.

That;s big difference in price, fringe, it's made mewant to shop around some more.

Waxybean, I have jus joined Brandalley, their prices look great, but not got the ones she wants. Bah.

How old is your DD? Office and schuh give a 10% student discount. If she's in local high school and has some form of ID card they'll probably give it to her.

If you buy them online make sure they're easy to return. Converse in my experience come up biggish so might want to half size down.

Try JD Sports. Around £35 or you can try Office or Debenhams. I got my ds limited edition batman converse for £7!!! from Office. In the sale but definitely worth a look. I wouldn't bother with eBay, I sold dd's white high tops for £30 & they were used. Great nick but got £3 less than I actually paid for them brand new. What can I say? They keep their value like Hunters (which I also made 80% of my money back. Receipt, box & bag included).

Try ASOS I recently got ds 13 a pair of Batman hi tops for £29.
