Hi everyone, first post but have to share... For years I've hated the dull tone on my skin and have tried sooo many different products at great expense. Then I saw on a website to try a teaspoon of baking soda with a drop of water. I thought it may be a bit too harsh but I've tried everything else... So I tried it and now after almost thirty years of searching and being disappointed my skin is actually the best its ever been! And it isn't harsh on skin at all. And best of all of course is that its almost free!

Ooh...that's a good tip. I'll try this tonight!

SummerRainIsADistantMemory · 14/03/2013 09:44

Would it work on hyper sensitive skin I wonder? I've developed allergies to almost all cosmetics since having ds2 and my skin has gone to shit Sad

Can't hurt to try I suppose, I'll report back!

baking soda? SO is that baking powder or bicarbonate of soda?

SummerRainIsADistantMemory · 14/03/2013 09:53

Bicarbonate of soda is often labelled baking soda or bread soda Saltire.

I'm up for trying this. Might work of a morning on my clarisonic. I'm guessing it doesn't really get make up off though?

HoneyStAngelo · 14/03/2013 11:12

Thank you, will give it a try.

be careful, water it down enough for daily use, can be used paste form as a facial scrub!
