Boden Ladies Sizes - Please Help!

Hi :)

Having lost quite a lot of weight recently, I am wanting to treat myself to a Boden skirt.
However, having never bought any stuff from them before I am a bit worried about their sizing.

I am currently fitting an M & S 12. Can also fit some Next Trousers in a 12.

Should I order a 12 from Boden or do their sizes come up small?

Prob a 12. If you look at their website they now have specific garment measurements for each item so you could compare to something you already own.

Thanks Cupcake. Good idea about measuring the garment size. I wanted to try and avoid ordering both a 12 and a 14 and having to return one - bit expensive for that!

I find Boden tend to be on the small side, eg I am a 10 in M&S, consider myself generally a 12, but would order a 14 from Boden.

I saw a friend of mine yesterday who wears Boden quite a bit, and like you she said that they come up small. I would say she is deffo a 10, but she orders 12 from Boden and she says she cant fit in their 12 trousers. Looks like I might be a 14 or even a 16 - bit of a blow to the old ego having lost 3 stone tho'.

It depends on your figure - if you have a small waist you may well be ok in a 12. I don't so have to go up to a 14 (and then get saggy arse).

Barging ... but is there a 15% voucher floating around - code? I've just ordered a heap of stuff using the M'net link and got 10% but I'd cancel & re-order (or ring them) to get the extra discount . Any helpers?!

Darn ... they won't change it, or let me cancel the order as it's been 'authorised' yet according to their website you can add to an order by phone any time up to 10pm on day of order - why not cancel/amend? Grrrrr!

I think their sizes are normal, but I have a small waist, at least compared to the rest of me. I bought trousers from them a while ago, looked on their website, found I measured up as an 18. I'm a 16 everywhere now, I think. So I bought 16, and they fit fine, maybe a bit baggy.

I'm a sz 10 everywhere but Boden... But if you have no hips there skirts are a crap fit in most cases.
I get really cross sometimes
