Right this is it!

I need to go fully silicone free.

I have a platinum blonde pixie crop but starting to get a bit of breakage, i think because i use a really harsh 'violet' shampoo then aussie 3 min miracle, blow dry everyday, no heat protector then lashings of mythical oil

i'd assumed with my hair being so short i could do what i wanted but alas no :(

i already have a lovely, nasty free shampoo, styling wax and intesnive conditioner from the body shop all sitting in the cupboard with the glycolic peel, coconut oil, setting lotion etc etc but the key products i need are silicone free serum and heat protector (and to stop drying it daily)

any words of wisdom oh wise ones???

I use body shop shampoo and products including serem .. It's changed my hair completely !

MadBraLady · 13/03/2013 18:38

The Boots pink stuff is awesome, lasts ages, super-cheap. But be warned (if that's the word) it really WILL curl your hair if you have a natural curl. When I just want a bit of smoothing and glossing rather than curl as such I use Aveda's Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade which is also -cone free.

fooolofbeans · 13/03/2013 18:54

thanks madbra and bishbosh i've gone for the james brown stuff as once i spot an offer the credit card digits are inputted quick sharp!!!
