My DS is now 3 and I have mountains of old pairs of shoes in my house (some in better condition than others). What do you do with them? eBay? Charity shop?

Charity shop, those deposit places at supermarkets, or cash for clothes.

Don't forget to pair them!

It's rare that my DCs shoes are good enough to be ebayed.

Trashed pairs (sadly all too common now she's older) - bin
Anything potentially wearable - pass on to friends, I know myself how helpful it is even as a short term solution when a current pair suddenly self-destructs (see above)

Charity shop or friends. DS2 aged 13 has had a growth spurt recently and has outgrown casual shoes before they are wrecked. He only wears them on non school days and they are generally still in good condition.
