Returning products to Boots - anyone have any experience?

Following rave reviews by Caroline Hirons and others I bought 2 of the Indeed Labs Hydraluron and 1 Eyesilix on 3 for 2 at Boots last week (still pretty expensive as they are 24.99 each). Within a couple of days of using my skin has broken out badly in lumps under the surface.

I normally have pretty good skin, not particularly sensitive to products, but can only think that the Hydraluron is the reason for the break out. I've also found the Eyesilix just peels off from around my eyes. One Hydraluron is still sealed in the box, but I've obviously opened and tried the others.

Does anyone know if I can return any of it, I still have the receipt?

In my experience Boots have an excellent returns policy, they should refund you no problem.

I returned Essie nail varnish to boots, which i had used and had failed to live up to the hype. I had my reciept and they refunded my money straight away....
