What would you wear with this dress?

I've just brought this dress for my birthday night out next week and I live it. The front split is a tad high! What would you wear with it shows and accessories wise? I always end up option for the boring / safe option. I'm wondering about black tights bu I don't really like the dark legs / bare arms look and the top of this dress is o beautiful I'm not covering it up.

Its very pretty:) Nude tights and heels or you could easily wear flats.

If you have a coloured red? pashmina that would look nice- are you going for a dinner?

I would steer clear of a big necklace - just a thin chain if you normally wear one, but I would wear a few bracelets on one wrist and a nice watch if you wear them.

Yes I am the same. Nude heals and tights are the safe option. I was just wondering if anyone had more inspiring ideas than me.

Gorgeous colour dress & detailing! think nude tights are verging on KMid territory, and not in a good way....I would brave bare legs if you can - they don't have to be tanned, but if you don't feel comfy going bare, then black tights would be better IMO. Nice chunky black heel with them to make your legs look long & maybe a "boyfriend" style blazer in black too? Lavenderhoney is right, steer clear of a necklace (or make it delicate) but go for a cuff maybe - black to go with tights/shoes etc? Have fun!

remus - good idea! I'll have to see if my mum could do it for me as I am rubbish at sewing!

I think I'll have to try it with the black tights but I doubt I'll go with it if my arms are bare. I'm wondering if plum / aubergine might work? I've got a new pair of shoes in that colour. Or maybe leopard print? I do have nude shoes if all else fails.
