Where to look? Budget up to £35. Next dresses are either too grown up to too beach casual. Can't find anything I like in John Lewis which is my usual party dress go to.

there are some lovely ones at Gap at the moment, and I have the 30% discount voucher if you want me to send it?
they're prom dress shape with a belt, little flowers punched out with a contrasting colour underneath and peeking out at the hem. matching cardigans in the underneath contrast colour. Lovely. The netting at the bottom isn't scratchy, I felt it yesterday.
pm me if you want the voucher code thing

Monsoon? H&m do party dresses, very reasonable considering they get covered in party food and your dd can enjoy herself without you worrying about spoiling the dress:)

shoppingbagsundereyes · 09/03/2013 15:42

Love the Gap ones. Like idea of matching cardi

Yes please to 30% voucher. Did they look small? Gap kids used to be smallish and dd is biggish so I'm wondering if I need the size small (age 6-7) for her?

Pumpkin Patch do traditional girly dresses and should come well under budget.

nellyjelly · 09/03/2013 17:29

I find gap small.

Oscarandelliesmum · 09/03/2013 18:34

Jam and bread do scrummy ones, about twenty nine pounds.

DancingRoundTheKitchen · 09/03/2013 20:04

This is pretty in pink
I think Rachel Riley dresses are beautiful but way too expensive for me to consider buying but this one is sweet and cheaper.

emsyj · 09/03/2013 20:30

I love the Poppy dresses - the full price ones are eye-wateringly expensive, but they have quite a few sale ones that are in budget.

I wish I hadn't seen the Rachel Riley site - I want a pair of the metallic mary janes in every colour and the strawberry print dress...

BobbiFleckmann · 09/03/2013 20:35

achica often have Poppy / Rachel Riley / Darcy Brown but you have to be lucky to get the right sizes.
Patrizia Wigan website has very lovely traditional smocking dresses, as do Trotters but Trotters are probably over budget

QueenMaeve · 10/03/2013 12:22

There's a Rachel Riley dress age 5 for sale on eBay. New with tags still attached, buy it now for £20.50. Can't link as in on the app not mobile site

Have you seen Mothercare's new Baby K range? The stuff is really lovely.

And they've got a 50% off offer running on all clothes right now.

Lots of pretty dresses on monsoon now. On sale.

Laura Ashley do some lovely ones and have a sale on atm.

AWimbaWay · 12/03/2013 18:18

Annoying Laura Ashley website won't let me link to the page with the dresses on, but I particularly like the last one.

queenebay · 12/03/2013 18:19
