Going to old boss's retirement do tonight. Getting ready in fits and starts (have 3 year old and 6 month old) just pur Frizz-Ease on my hair and it turned it into oil slick!! Don't see how or when I could wash it again. Is there any way to save this or must I just pull it back? So wanted to look nice for this party. Sad

when did you put it on? wet or dry.
how long do you have and where did you put the serum roots end etc

chapsmum · 04/05/2006 15:20

infact, get off mumsnet and go washe your hair, no nedd for conditioner shampoo on the roots and then towel dry

expatinscotland · 04/05/2006 15:22

Sorry, but you're going ot have to wash it. Only shampoo will dissolve all that silicone.

Put in on when my hair was totally dry. Put it mostly on ends but did touch the root area too as they were a bit frizzy. Now looks like I haven't washed my hair in weeks. I've tried brushing well and blow drying a bit but it's made no difference. I've got just over an hour but it's about time for DD's bottle and I haven't decided what to wear as the original outfit is all wrong now that it's so warm. Aaargh!! Definitely one of those days.

Would hairspray make a difference? Wondering if the alcohol would help but don't want to just start putting loads of stuff on my hair.

OK, if I have to wash it will but just put face on. Aaaargh!!

NO! Don't add spray. Then you'll have stiff, greasy hair.

Been there, bought the tshirt.

chapsmum · 04/05/2006 15:24

no no no, no hairspray.
sorry, serum should beapplied to wet hair, and no to the roots.
/You coul try spraying your hair with water either in the shower or a clean plant spray or something. think the serum is partially water soluble and dry again.
Good luck
