Going to a hen do in a couple of weeks... do I HAVE to wear a dress??

I'm just not feeling the dress thing at the moment but how do you dress well for a night out in anything but? Have 2 DCs and am a bit out of practice...

Where are you going? What type of night out. I love tight, skinny jeans/trousers maybe cropped a bit with gorgeous heels and a posh top. This seems to work well for city type bars/restaurants imo.

Thanks Sunshine - that sounds like the sort of thing that would work well for me. Part of being anti-dresses for me is that I'll wear it once, whereas I don't mind spending a bit of money if I'll wear it all again.

It's an evening in York - bars, clubs and the like.

I saw a nice peach/grey combo on Pinterest (the skinnies were peach). Does that sound reasonable? I want to get the colour combo right...
