Help me accessorise this new Pepperberry dress for a wedding, please.

I've ordered this dress

for a wedding in April. Thinking of maybe a cream jacket/shrug/cardi with it or should I go for colour?

What do you think? I am brunette, brown eyes, lightly tanned.

How old are you? I think cream would be quite traditional and if you are young or young at heart I would probably go for a colour instead. A bright colour could look good with it - raspberry, chartreuse yellow or maybe a metallic...

I'm nearly 40, not sure if that is young or not. I like the idea of colour. Yellow doesn't suit me (in my own opinion) but I quite like orange.

The dress arrived. I'm not sure about it. It fits well enough but I'm not sure if it isn't a bit dull for a wedding.

Any opinions/alternative suggestions welcome.

I am size 18 by the way which makes it more difficult.
