Anyone used a personal shopper in dept store?

John Lewis or Debenhams? I've lost quite a bit of weight and have NOTHING to wear, my body shape is so different and I want to look great but need help. Has anyone used the personal shoppers services and what experiences? Thanks girls!

Waiting patiently as I have considered doing this and seeing what thay suggest, but I am scared it would be a bit like Trinny and Susanna.

I think the trinny and susanna treatment is kind of what I'm after!!

Debenhams were brilliant and free. The big advantage was she bought me stuff to try on that I wouldn't normally have considered and it really opened my eyes.
Also, I had DH and DD with me and the changing area was massive so there was plenty of room for them to chill nearby too whilst i went "does my bum look big in this?"
Disadvantage - I went in for 1 thing and came out with 6.That's due to my lack of self control not pressure from them.
Top tip - wear decent underwear - it will be on show........

Yep, would agree with everything Koala cube said. Good underwear and something like a little black or white vest that you can keep on whilst trying trousers or skirts on. Mine did bring loads of stuff to try, all really good and not what I would have tried, and wierdly it all nearly all fit which would never normally have happened! Would recommend taking partner or friend/sister with you for second opinions. I went back season after as was so good. I went to Kendals/House Fraser in Manchester as had lots of concessions from topshop/oasis/warehouse to designers to their own labels which was good as you didn't com away with all the same kind of stuff.

I think I would take a freind as DH would last 10mins then be bored to tears and start playing games on his mobile.
