Can anyone talk to me about clip-in hair extensions?

I have collar bone length very fine hair. I put it up all the time (and add a clip in ponytail at the back for volume) as it suits my face. Thanks to coming up to the menopause, my hair is thinning at the temples and the fringe and top of my head too :( So when I put it up, it's a bit see through just above my forehead and at the sides. I have to really mess about to camouflage the wider partings and while I'm managing now, predict that its going to get harder.

I would love to try clip in extensions to add volume but wonder if they would stay in place with my v thin hair. Also can you put them on the sides/top of head. And last of all, could I then put my hair up in a messy up-do without all the clips/wefts showing.

I've no idea which ones to try either. Any advice/recommendations would be really appreciated. TIA

Flip In Hair Extensions are supposed to be great. Good luck!

Oh they do look interesting thanks. I've looked at stockists and there's one 5 mins from me. Am going to go take a look and talk to them about them.
