Where did you find your dds prom dress?

Dd is almost 16, prom is in June, dress needs to be long, she is a slim size 6/8, fair skin, light brown hair, about 5.7.
Would love to be able to try it on, but also open to Internet purchase. Budget ideally £100ish but maybe flexible.
Loads of people must have done this before, can anyone help?

We got dd1's in a little place called Traffic People, just off Carnaby Street. She now needs one for Yr 13 and dd2 needs one for Yr 11, so I will be watching carefully!

Bumping and hoping for traffic tomorrow, maybe everyone here is too young to have 16 yo daughters. If so where do you buy your posh dresses?

Most wedding dress shops do prom dresses these days, but Debs much cheaper.

Oh can I join too? My eldest got hers in Monsoon 8 years ago , and Dd2 at a local, now closed boutique. Really looking forward to shopping for this one but as dd3 is petite I think she'll need to try on styles rather than go online. Luckily live close enough to London to make a day of it.

I've bought dresses from here in the past. They are very good quality and they are very helpful on the phone if you need them.

Thanks for that thread Landof I would not have looked at that site cos name would put me off but it looks ok! And cheaper than other similar sites
