End of this month so will be warm still. Don't know whether to go for long maxi dress or shorter? Late afternoon into evening wedding in a vineyard!

Thanks for any suggestions.

Oooh, I vote for long maxi as they tend to be cooler as the sun stays off your skin. Much easier to manoeuvre about in and you can wear it with grecian or beaded sandals and a large clutch bag.

Have you got any in mind?

Thanks cheese- I was leaning towards a maxi. Haven't really had a proper look around yet somifyou see ny fab ones let me know!

I have this

What do you think? With maybe a bright clutch to brighten it up? Chunky silver jewellery?

Will only be warm while sun is out. Will get chilly in evening so best to take something to cover up also. Which winery?

Coriole in Mclaren Vale. Does the temp really drop in the evening?

Temps can vary on SA, depends I wind is coming from desert or Antarctic! There's been some v hot days, it's due to be 38 again next week, but it can be 20s. Schools switch to their 'winter uniform' after Easter so it will usually be cooler by then. I would plan for warm and take something for evening just in case. I use the pocket weather app, good to help with planning ahead! Coriole is lovely by the way, enjoy! (If it helps, I find people generally quite dressy here, they love 'race day' outfits if u know what I mean... Tho I moved from studentville Brighton!

I meant 'in' and 'if'!

gregssausageroll · 06/03/2013 07:44

Yes, definitely take something warmer for the evening.

We have been to leeuwin in WA for concerts in the evening and they are in march. Day time temps can be 30 but when the sun goes it is cold. People are usually in uggs and blankets!

Thanks for the weather tips ladies! What do you think to the dress though? Nice pink pashmina do you think?

Phase Eight Rosa Maxi

That's a beautiful dress and I'm sure it will look amazing.

I'd go for delicate jewellery rather than chunky, just because the flowers are so dramatic. Can't advise on the weather but maybe take a shawl or pashmina. Again I'd go for black rather than a colour as the flowers are so beautiful it'd be a shame to distract from it. Just my opinion though!

creamsoda · 07/03/2013 02:16

That dress is gorge! Vv nice. I'd prob go with a cropped cardigan type thing in one of the colours in the flowers, pink or cream? (It might be coz I'm 5'10 but I feel quite covered in a maxi and a pashmina could be too much floaty material? Tho depends how floaty dress is :)

creamsoda · 07/03/2013 02:23

maybe this?
