Nbg · 03/05/2006 11:43

\link{http://www.asos.com/Killah-Mesh-Flexi-Pump/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=62673&cid=1433\I like these too} but they haven't got any decent sizes left.

expatinscotland · 03/05/2006 11:44

my heels are too narrow to ever wear pumps like that, nbg.

BUT, i am lovin' my Clark's clogs that people said were ugly :o.

Nbg · 03/05/2006 11:45

I like thos clogs Expat.

In fact I was eyeing them up last week in the Clarks window.

cod · 03/05/2006 11:46

me too

oliveoil · 03/05/2006 11:47

no, those clogs are not for me, no no no

right, off for eyebrow shape now (god I sound like a footballers wife), back in a bit.

Nbg · 03/05/2006 11:49

Enjoy Grin

expatinscotland · 03/05/2006 11:52

they're really growing on me, especially b/c they make my calves look good.

i like the unusual colour, too.

now, if only it would warm up enough to wear a skirt or dress.

Tutter · 03/05/2006 11:52

oo - i like them

i have just ordered \link{http://www.officeholdings.co.uk/perl/go.pl/womens-style.html?webcode=20&style_uid=2105&color_uid=4963\these}

Fimbo · 03/05/2006 11:54

Like Olive's, liking the Clark's Clogs but hate those cherry things.

Tutter · 03/05/2006 11:54

i think these trainery-pump-things are necessary for summer jeans wearing.

birkenstock things good with linen trews and the like but not with jeans imo.

Nbg · 03/05/2006 12:00

What does everyone think to those Birkenstock slip on mule things?

Schuh are doing their own version for £25.

expatinscotland · 03/05/2006 12:14

I have mixed feelings on the slip-on Birks.

My SIL has some. Although she's a mum of two, she's a goregous, 26-year-old, size 6 who works as a beauty therapist now and consequently always has a tan (free access to fake bake thru work).

On her, they look FAB. She's got a pair of pink ones and wears them w/a pale nude nail varnish on the toes.

oliveoil · 03/05/2006 12:43

birks are fab, I have ordered a pair of the slip on ones in black for this summer (I have them in red and flower).

Do not buy the rip off ones, only Birkenstocks allowed.

(Eyebrows look a bit red now but are a nice shape if anyone is interested)

They're nice Olive, I like them (have a soft spot for most rocket dogs)

I have \link{http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/POSITIVE-LUXE-from-ROCKET-DOG-in-BROWN-UK6-BNIB_W0QQitemZ7763602154QQcategoryZ53552QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem\these ones} and their silver ballet shoes :)

oliveoil · 03/05/2006 12:54

I wanted those in a glitter finish but they didn't have my size.

I bow down to Rocket Dog too.

xx

olive, have just bought some \link{http://tweezerman.com/index.cfm?page=productdetail&prod=216&cc=15\Tweezerman} tweezers...a life-changing product

PinkKerPlink · 03/05/2006 13:02

i like them#
but i am sporting a pair of yellow converse co[pies from new look
50 too dear imo

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2006 13:02

Ooh, bundle, they are wonderful, but have you got the insert bit that tells you where to send them to get them sharpened? I lost that bit and mine are getting well blunt, it'd be great if you could give me the address... :)

foxinsocks · 03/05/2006 13:03

doesn't it still really hurt though bundle when you have to yank them out?

I tried to pull a few hairs (have quite fine blonde hair) but it was so painful, I nearly cried (wuss emoticon).

FrannyandZooey · 03/05/2006 13:04

Ok, just found it on the website but it's in the US, anyone sent them there and got them back safely?

bundle · 03/05/2006 13:05

foxy, they are so blimmin efficient, it really is a lot less painful. i've never had such nice brows...Smile

franny, i've kept the packaging, i had no idea but will look for you tonight

oliveoil · 03/05/2006 13:05

I have Tweezermans but I have mine done every 3 months or so to get the shape right and then neaten at home myself.

The woman is Indian and is trying to get me into threading, has anyone had this done.

May start thread.....

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 03/05/2006 13:05

do you actually pull the whole hair out?

bundle · 03/05/2006 13:06

a threading thread? sounds good. people swear by it but thought £13 pair of fabbo tweezers better investment than threading supremo every few weeks.
