No eyebrows at all - has anyone used brow powder and can recommend it please?

This is for my mum, who has no eyebrows whatsoever. I've seen kits with stencils and brow powder which seem to give a more natural look then just drawing them on with a pencil, but have no idea of quality, staying power etc.

Could anyone recommend a brand please or have any other suggestions?

TIA.

Just ordinary eyeshadow is fine - use a suitable Colour and a fine brush with a wedge shape. The woman on the bobbi brown counter showed me how to do it (basically you do small strokes starting at top of nose/brow tapering down to where there is a line from end of your nose to other side of your eye- it is much better to get someone to demonstrate).

Benefit Browzings is the best I've tried and I always use it now. One half is wax and other powder - good mini brush included. Agree that getting a professional to demonstrate would be a good plan.

Another vote for Benefit Browzings - wax plus powder. Take your mum to the Benefit counter in Boots and they'll demo it for her.

I like the Laura Mercier brow powder duo.

Used Bobbi Brown and Benefit - the Benefit kit Brow-zings is the best.

Smashbox Brow Tech is fabulous but nothing beats YBF eyebrow pencil. It's the one I keep coming back to and I've tried everything!

CareerGirl01 · 02/03/2013 16:58

What's YBF Cate? I use the Mac brow pen as well - is good.

It's the Your Best Friend cosmetic range - I buy them in bulk from QVC or eBay when I'm desperate. They last for months - I don't look like me when I haven't got one :)

Benefit browzings, coupled with hd brows pencil.

the soap and glory new thing has a pencil one end and a fine felt tip thing the other that you can 'draw' on fine hairs is good, not sure how it would fare for a no eyebrow situation though.
