What leg wear in summer?

When you have horrible legs, particularly knees. See lots of short dresses that I like, which I would have worn with leggings a year or so ago, but now leggings seem sort of wrong...

But I hate wearing tights, the feeling of them goes through me.... So looks like trousers again.

Midi/maxi skirts? And linen trousers

So, leggings definitely passé then?

What's wrong with leggings? Still planning on wearing leggings (cropped and/or full length) with short skirts and dresses this summer.

Are they not just a tiny bit frumpy now?

I wear a slick of fake tan and maxi skirts. Skinny ones this year.

Tights work of a misogynistic demon if you ask me.

When you say horrible legs, do you mean shape or colour/tone etc? Nude fishnets are very good at making legs look smooth and a uniform colour and they're not as restrictive feeling as normal tights - you still get a bit of a breeze to the fanjo.

Or nude hold-ups which have all the same advantages plus make you feel sexy as hell - weirdly unfashionable but they're great.

Ugh to leggings.

I wear nude hold ups for work.

Do you all think a pair of churidar could be an alternative to leggings?

orangeandlemons · 02/03/2013 21:05

My legs are awful. I have very strange shaped knees, and never show them, but thick opaque s or leggings disguise them.

No to fishnets, they will not match the dress I have in mind, nor Indian style trousers. I have always hated my knees....
