Hello,
In anticipation of a an upcoming 'big' birthday I have been trawling the net for research. I/my friends/family am pooling resources so that I can purchase a lovely leather bag.... I reckon top budget will be £600...
So far my two most loved bags are the billy and the balzane tote. Now I appreciate they are way different bags (and the longchamp is way out of budget....) Which is why i need your advice...
I love the slightly slouchy rock and roll style of the jerome dreyfuss bag because it matches my personal style (mmme well at least what I'd like to be like Grin) but equally there is something about the longchamp bags structure that makes it feel like it has a bit of 'attitiude' ifykwim... plus the dreyfuss bag is the sort of thing that you could easily see replicated on the high street.....
So bag gurus.... any alternative suggestions?

Love the longchamp. If you can wait, the same longchamp bag but in black went into the sale at house of Fraser for about half price, John leis too and they do a price match. Longchamp also have seasonal sales. Soooooo if you can wait may go down...??

Longchamp a bit safe for me. Jerome Dreyfuss is a much sexier brand, plus his bags are like works of art.

It's a classic style at the mo and they tend to change the colour from season to season. What I like about longchamp is it doesn't tend to fatwas quickly as some brands if you pick the right style. However it isn't as out there as the other, but I prefer a classic look.

I bought this in house of Fraser sale for £94.50. It's just a case of holding off until end of sale if you want a great discount. The bleach one like the one you like was around £180 from memory.

I bought mine 2nd week in Jan. However a lot on Longchamp site goes to 50% off from start BUT sells out very quickly. Next sale would be end of summer. Probably jul/aug time but some shops seem to starting sales sooner! Hope you enjoy whichever bag you go for and well done for treating yourself- if you pick a bag that's quality and you love you'll be able to use it for years!
