I need one of those water jet cleaners (mainly for my DS who'll be getting braces) and my DD who will too.

Ideally one with changeable heads for hygiene.
And incorporating or seperate sonic electric toothbrush.

Any views / buys/ don't buys

TIA Smile

I used a waterpik and really liked it - it's quite brutal the first few days though, and more than once I showered the bathroom with a highpressure jet of water when distracted.

I did find it a bit noisy, and I found that the rechargeable one had such a tiny reservoir it just wasn't worth using

Marking place, my DH has gum disease and his dentist has told him to get one of these.

Waterpik - but dont get the rechargeable 'cos they just die - love mine, and you can get various 'heads' including a brush head for braces. Agree its noisy.

I've got the Phillips sonic waterflosser and its brilliant!!

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 02/03/2013 18:28

Phillips is meant to be good but mine went wrong after a month Sad the 'kitty' has a huge reservoir but is mains powered and big so depends on space and proximity to power but if you look at the reviews on amazon for all these so far you will get a good picture.

Skullnbones · 02/03/2013 18:30

Phillips air floss is brilliant. Hd mine over a year, no problems at all

knitknack · 02/03/2013 19:28

No probs with mine either - mine's not mains powered, it's rechargeable.

knitknack · 02/03/2013 19:28

I've had mine for about 8 months.

After two waterpiks that died (for no reason) I have moved to the panasonic version. All going well so far.
