What shoes would you put with this dress?

I've just bought this sea-green dresss and am thinking of pairing it with a navy or navy/white striped blazer. It's the shoes that are an issue. I don't do heels but would like to keep it semi-smart without being frumpy. It's just below the knee and is quite figure-hugging. Any ideas? Thanks!

Would you wear wedges? I know they heels but not iyswim

Thought a pair of black high heel or boots would go well with it, and a pearl necklace is great perfect for the style.
