Aldi's discontinuing Lacura

Did you know they are discontinuing the line due to poor sales. I am gutted as I loved their concealer. My favourite by a mile.

I also love the syn-ake cream - you have to google to find that too, but it is still on the website.

I've asked on facebook and aldi say it is not being discontinued.

No they aren't discontinuing it! I asked a staff member when I went shopping on Monday & he went & checked out back a sheet that lists stock that is coming to an end soon & Lacura range isn't on it so we can all sleep easy!!!

They definately can't be discontinuing it.

There is no horse DNA in body lotion.

I don't care if it is a dead thread. Just wanted to put in my five eggs. Aabsolutely distraught about the discontinuation of Lacura products - only found out yesterday when I went to buy another bottle of eye cream which I use for my whole face and it is brilliant. Have emailed Aldi's customer care department to express my anger at this highhanded removal of an affordable and effective wrinkle suppressor and moisturiser which I have been using for months. In fact, it is why I make a detour to visit Aldi, so usually do other shopping while there so they are the losers.

The skin care range is still going though. They've just brought a new day and night cream out which is fantastic.

The make up stopped over a year ago sadly,I loved the mineral powder.

I love the night cream. However, our local store has very little make up these days. I have a nail varnish which is fab, best long lasting one I've had! But have looked for other stuff and the only thing left this week was a face powder and blusher I think. I wondered if it was being discontinued.

I think they have different products in different stores.

After reading a thread on here last week I got some of the shimmer day cream from an Aldi in Bolton. After reading this thread yesterday I had a look for it in one near home. Don't have it. No eyeliners or other makeups. They did however have a lot of their famous £1.99 cream and the Syn-ake stuff.

On another aisle was a selection of other handcream/footcream, more expensive face cream in a red box, and some clear cleansing gel. All reduced.

On the evidence so far, I deduce that they are stopping some of the lines but carrying on with the most popular. Th ose most popular products however are on sale in whichever shops they must sell the most of each product. Therefore I need to go back to Bolton to stock up on glimmer day cream and dark green eyeliner, but am ok for the syn-ake near me. If anyone has difficulty getting hold of that stuff I can grab a few and post them. The boxes are so light that you'd get quite a few in a small parcel!

btw can someone tell me how the syn-ake stuff works? Its only 10ml for a fiver so I don't want to splurge without knowing what exactly is so great about it.

I haven't seen the concealer in there, for weeks. I had only just discovered it too.
Seen the eyeliner etc but in the interchangeable weekly offers section so I assumed they we're getting rid. Sad
