I am very much fed up resembling a yeti and was thinking of investing in a home laser/ipl system

Can someone recommend one as epilating and shaving is not producing good enough results and I really really reAlly want smooth legs for once Sad

Tia

I have bought a Philips lumea recently after having numerous sessions of laser at an expensive clinic. The clinic sessions (12) were bordering on completely ineffective and I bought it as a last ditch attempt. I'm surprised that it has had better results after three DIY attempts but am fully aware that it needs to be repeated regularly. Boots are advertising that it still has a 60 day return on it but double check the details with Philips as it was withdrawn at one point.Worth a go maybe? Previous experience had taught me that not all things work for everyone I was determined to find a way of being free of razor rash etc. It's not perfect but sooo much better....I can go swimmimg without needing notice,my underarms are virtually hairless but my legs need more attention.

I've been trying the Remington laser thingy. So far, a definite reduction in hair, but not permanent removal (which was my dream). But no ingrowns, coarse stubble or itchy regrowth, which for me is a huge improvement over waxing and shaving. A quick zap once a fortnight is no trouble (with shaving in between if necessary), so less faff than waiting for hair to be long enough to wax. And there's always the great hope that one day it will be gone for good...

I bought a memyelos in the Xmas sales for half price, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered, but I'm so glad I did. I've used it 5 times so far (supposed to use it 7 times, once a week, then as required) and I barely need to shave my legs between treatments. It used ipl and rf (not sure if that's different to the others) and takes about 20 minutes. Just regret I didn't try this before now.

Thanks butterflies
