Good quality handbag that can be used post-birth

Hi,

I'm looking for a good quality leather handbag that is large enough and can be used post-birth, so I can place my little ones changing bag and a couple of nappies inside it too. I'd like it to either be a shoulder bag or have a strap so that it could be a shoulder bag. Also, structured in leather would be great, I.e if it wasn't full it wouldn't look it. I'd prefer it in black or tan, but open to suggestions. Budget is around £400.

Thanks!

Do you not want cross-body? With a little one and all their attendant crap, tends to be much easier than a shoulder bag, which once full can be unwieldy whilst wrangling a baby/toddler and possibly other random items in other hand Grin

I think this might be the kind of thing you're looking for?

Jumper, thanks! Smile a cross shoulder does sound like a good idea now. I think I'd like one with removable straps so that it could be used for both as cross shoulder and shoulder

I've got a big RRadley bag and I can fit a lot of crap toddler and seven year old essentials in it.

Take last Thursday for instance I had two big water bottles, my iPad, a water pad, nappies, wipes, iPhone, purse, snack and keys in it and there was still room for more. It has a lot of pockets too, but they are hidden. It's fabulous and means I'm not compromising my style too much.its all leather and I love it.

I've got this in last years pink for dc days, its perfect, carries all my gubbins and goes cross body if I need it too...

madammecholet, thanks, that looks lovely!

Manchesterhistorygirl, I'll pop down to the Radley shop.

I had a lovely grey suede messenger style bag. The only problem is that it got very heavy when filled with baby paraphernalia and I didn't carry bottles which I think increase the weight.
