what sort of top would go with this skirt?

just got this striey skirt for dd age 5, what sort of top or tee would go nicely?

Oh I got that last year for my DD, and was looking to get it again this year, it's a fab piece.

Which colourway did you go for?

hi, this year i've got the rainbow stripe.

previous years we had the pink and white stripe which was good as went with loads[dd has quite a bit of pink, i 'm afraid!]

and previous to that we had the red and white stripe, and we got a lovely matching top with a little sealion on it.

i like these skirts as it hides her pants, when shes doing what she does!

i'm a bit stuck what top to pair it with

I'd go for a T in one of the colours, either plain or with some kind of applique, which Boden does well for kiddies.

yeah i was thinking perhaps something plain,
like the gap top

here there are these tops which come in yellow with a boat on
or coral with a fish on.

but she would much prefer a cat, rabbit, dog or butterfly that type of thing, not sure she would like a fish tee shirt iyswim.

i could go for plain, but i fancy getting something extra nice, as i'm only planning on getting her a few outfits, as even when shes had a wardrobe full of stuff, she just has her fav things she wears loads and loads
so i'm planning on just getting a handful of very nice things iyswim

All of those applique t-shirts are lovely so I would go for the one that suits her colouring

i think yellow suits her,but dont think she would think much to a boat design

For me personally that's a bit too busy, too many ice creams too close to the stripes
pretty t-shirt though
