HELP - I need a Wedding outfit on maternity pay budget

I have a wedding to go to at the end of May and another in August. The first one will be fairly relaxed and the second a bit posher. I need to find a dress that will suit both and then can perhaps change the accessories for each wedding. However, I'm currently on mat leave and now only on SMP with some savings to top it up a bit.

So, where can I find an outfit that won't break the bank and everyone else won't be wearing?

I would definitely look on eBay - people sell coast , phase eight new for a fraction. Or are you near one of the good outlets like Bicester, Cheshire Oaks etc?

I really recommend phase eight at Cheshire oaks the ladies there are fab and will certainly help you find the perfect thing

OP what have you already got in your wardrobe that you can use? If you already have some shoes and/or a bag and/or other accessories then that might keep the cost down considerably.

Dorothy Perkins is also good for bargains. The amount if dresses I've got in there for a tenner recently is amazing.
