Do you want specific items?

I recently did a course in London during the day followed by cocktails at The Savoy. I wore a plain navy dress with black opaques, shoe boots and a blue printed scarf. Replaced the scarf with a necklace for the evening and did my make up in the college toilet!

I've not glammed up in ages so don't really have anything to wear?!

So from scratch really, but on a budget.

I'm 28 btw.

id just add heels and a top to a pair of jeans maybe

Ruprekt · 24/02/2013 23:01

Hair up in the day.

Smart jeans and casual top for day with blazer or trench coat. Comfy flat shoes for shopping.

In car I would have a sparkly top, hair down, glam heels and red lippy! SmileSmile

Agree with Alison's suggestion - don't think you'd need to go too sparkly with the top or exotic with the heels for the evening if it's just a drink and meal in a normal, casual place. Simple dress and opaques would be fine too. Most people will have come on from work anyway unless it's a Saturday.

Comfy shoes for day dor sure.

London can be very casual

PampersAndHuggiesMe · 25/02/2013 09:10

I don't own any jeans Blush and don't like wearing them

Ok no jeans. Do you like dresses then? The key is going to be footwear - flat boots or shoes for day (shopping in London = lots of walking) and high heels for eve will make you feel glam. So a dress with opaques and flats that you can put some jewellery with and heels for the eve. And some kind of nice jacket? Do you have a blazer or leather?

PampersAndHuggiesMe · 25/02/2013 12:56

Nope, just a green parker coat, I'm prepared to buy dress, coat and heels and accessories.

Am trying to find a dress to fit the criteria!
