Should I wear delightful pop socks under work trousers?

I'm planning my return to work outfits and not sure what to wear on feet under black trousers. They are a regular style but I need to wear flattish or low heeled shoes so what do I wear with these? Tights, pop socks, knee highs? What does everyone else do? I couldn't consider going bare skinned in this weather!

Yes. You should.

Bare legs, too cold/smelly shoes/not professional/. Actual socks totally naff. You can go very convincing flesh tone or black or subtle pattern e.g. fishnet with black trousers. Only flesh tone with other trousers.

And put them on last/take them off first if you are in a shared dressing area scenario.

And beware the end of day red ankle mark.

Thank you. So black ones with black trousers. I have worn them before, though knee highs I think, and I had a dreadful red indent at end of day. They're not going to cut off my circulation are they?!!

I dislike them but do wear them on the rare occasions I wear trousers for work.

I've given up wearing trousers for work as I am too fat. But I would go for pop socks every time. You just have to shop around, could go for black, nude or something a bit more racy if you can find them.

I wear M & S ankle pop socks, which go much nearer to the knee than ankle.

Never had red marks or discomfort and they look much better than socks.
