Help! Wedding tomorrow night what on earth do I do with my hair?

Please inspire me with some simple but stylish up-do ideas. Tomorrow will be my first night out with just DH since dd2 was born 5 months ago, I really want to look nice but I feel like I've lost all my style (or what little I had anyway!)

I'm wearing a black & white short skater dress with no sleeves, I have long, thick blonde hair and quite a long neck, usually I'd either straighten it or curl it but I won't have time for either tomorrow as we need to be out the door quickly once my mum arrives to have the girls.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something elegant but relatively simple that I could do with my mop of neglected hair?

How about a really sleek high pony tail? Use some of your hair to wrap around the hair band. Or if you've got time nip out and get some nice hair accessories. Ken pave does a hair band that looks like plaited hair. One of those with a few diamanté hair clips would look nice too.

That sounds nice dazzling I could pop into town to get some a accessories in the morning. I feel so underprepared!

i have just bought the loreal matt and messy sea salt spray and it's made me hair look super tousled (perfect as i can't be arsed to wash it) you could try that for definition, it's not too much money few quid

I really like the off-center side bun. Basically it's just a messy bun at the nape of your neck but off to one side. If you google it, there are lots of images. I find it super fast and easy. I used to pay for updos for events but to be honest, this is obviously cheaper, quicker, and I'm just as happy with the results!

Right, I'll attempt it. If all else fails I guess I can just stick it in a bun, but the plaits would be far nicer!

I second the low side bun. I do a sock bun (see you tube) and it looks great. You can have it smooth and sleek or more loose and messy.

I have pinned small feather bird Christmas decorations into it before now in colours to match or contrast with my outfit Grin but a few diamonte clips would look good.
