My hands are so dry and nails are flakey and prone to splitting. Mostly due to them being wet for too long too often. I have purchases marigolds and put hand cream by each sink (and will try to use it). Anything I can pain on my nails to help?

Nailtiques. I use protein formula 2 but there are a range of different ones to suit. It can be quite pricey though

Sally Hansen Miracle Cure is good.

OPI Nail Envy.

Pricey (but I got mine from ebay) but hands down the best ever for nails. I've used mine for a few months now and my nails have gone from splitting and flaking to so strong I am having to cut them down.

Or mavala nail hardener.

In Boots you can find Save The Nail products which are about £7 .
They have a hydrating formula which works well on my nails which are prone to flaking. it might help.
