What nail colours go with navy?

I'm going out in a week or so and wearing a navy wrap dress, with a grey clutch and silver jewellery. (I wanted these shoes - a lot greyer in real life, not as cream - but they don't bloody fit so it will have to be my boring black heels. Curse my 4.5 size feet.)

Normally I just pick a nail colour and don't make too much fuss about matching but for once in my life I'm going to make actual effort, so what do you think would go well? I'm considering going for red, with red lipstick, but am open to suggestions.

i think rich dark red looks lovely with navy, not quite noir rouge but more of a deep plum?

I like taupe grey nails but I think a dark red would look good too.

I've for a dark nude-y colour on at the moment which looks pretty good with navy
