Quit smoking, weight gain, any advice?

I have a S&B dilema. I have done the best thing (apparently) or my looks and quit smoking. Unfortunately, I've gained about 8-10lbs and can't shift it now. I stopped smoking over Xmas, rather than New Year, so there's the Xmas poundage to shift too. Sad

It's so difficult to manage your weight when you quit smoking. Any advice woould be very much appreciated!

I'm not eating more, and I would have lost my Xmas weight by now if I was still puffing away. I am being careful with diet and taking regular exercise (walking, 30 Day Shred and Yoga). I'm very fussy about food, so I don't eat much meat, I don't eat wheat and I eat plenty of veg and pulses.

I'm feeling pissed off, because I had just lost a stone and a half and bought loads of new clothes, nice ones too. Now they either don't fit, or don't look nice on. Angry

It's no fair. I don't want to buy a new wardrobe, because then I feel like I am admitting defeat and I may never get back to the way I was. The alternative is wearing what I have that fits and trying to diet away the excess weight. Unfortunately, what fits isn't vary nice or flattering and I just feel horrible because of my spare tyre, bra strap bulge and thunder thighs.

I am about to do the Paul Mckenna hypnotic gastric band, so fingers crossed.
