talking of tights.......

Having just asked about a style of tights has got me thinking. For those of you who don't know I am transsexual and whilst I am very used to the trials and tribulations of being a woman (I have been doing it for 26 years!) it go me thinking about habits of the better sex;-)
Whilst I would like to think that living as a woman is normal for me now I of course am aware that I was born with a male body (sadly). Even after all these years (the last two living as a female) I still have a little sense of happiness or satisfaction when I undertake certain tasks and one of them is shopping for hosiery. I can't exactly explain why and its not because I buy anything sexy or outrageous because I am strictly a tights and sensible knickers type of girl (except for the odd occasion). I think it's just because it's something unique to women (and TS's and TV's I guess) and something about it makes me feel 'all woman'
Does any genetically born women have the same view or like some of my girlfriends do you find tights and hosiery in general a complete turn off or no no!

Tights are just a functional item to me, like dresses or jeans... But I can see why you might feel the way you do - I definitely remember the hosiery section of department stores seeming very mysterious and glamorous when I was little.

I must admit to the same feeling when younger
