M&S colours for boys & girls - Our Kids, Our Colours!

Hi, all

I got so sick today of M&S browns, greys and muted colours I crossed to the pink side for my 2 year old son. Isn't it clear kid-theory that bright and varied colours are important for their development?

I've set up a petition, which, if it gets enough sigs, I can send to M&S - can I ask that if you're interested, you'd sign and share the link? It asks for them to let US choose the kids' colours, and suggests they just organise clothes by "tops", "trousers", "dresses" etc.

Thanks, guys - let's see how much interest there is!

Can I suggest you repost this either in chat or in feminism? There have been a few campaigns about gender bias from shops....regarding toys and also regarding over sexualised clothes and toys for girls.

This section isn't very busy! Also...can I ask...why M&S in particular? Aren't other retailers just as guilty?

In the meantime...have a look at some of the Scandinavian children's clothing...it's MUCH less dreary!
