I am wearing black wideish leg, trousers from french connection at present but they are too warm for the summer

Linen trousers?
They are much cooler, but I guess they do crease very easily.

beetroot · 29/04/2006 12:54

yes, not sure Linen would work as need to stay lookin smart

Are your French connection ones lined?
Lined trousers are the pits when it gets warmer as they kind of stick to your legs!
Could you not wear a skirt instead?
Pencil skirts are very in again aren't they?
A pencil skirt would look smart for work.

beetroot · 29/04/2006 16:42

not sure a pencil skirt woudl work. i think trousers are the best thing. yes FC ones are lined.

You would be better of buying some un-lined ones for the summer. Lined trousers are the worse things to wear when it gets warmer.

blueteddy · 29/04/2006 18:14

What about cropped trousers, or are they a no,no for work?
Have you looked on the FCUK website?

Have you tried Jigsaw? I think they have quite a few pairs of trousers in at the moment - sort of loosish, but fitted over the bum/hips iykwim.
