Is there anything good in primark at the moment?

We have just had a huge new one built nearby and I'm going on Wednesday.

Is there anything worth getting in there? What should I avoid? I've never had jeans from there that have fit properly but thought I could maybe get some leggings, basic tops.

i go for dcs clothes, undies and pjs. i find adult clothes dont tend to last/hold their shape.

I have a long sleeve basic top with a pocket on from there that's washed quite well and is handy for layering. Might see if they have short sleeve versions.

I will just end up buying for the DCs once again I think!

I got a couple of jersey pencil skirts last week, they're fab. They hit just below my knee, wash up lovely and were only £7. They had a few colours too which is nice

The 'I love my stretchy top' tops are amazing...in loads of colours, on them round tables ...£3-£4 each, great for layering/sleeping in/anything..

Got a lovely black and white stretch longsleeved jersey dress..£10, a black 3/4 sleeve blazer.

Got a fab grey patent bowling bag for £9 and 2 beautiful envelope clutch bags both snake skin, one nude one black for £6

They have got 100% cotton slouchy cardigans at the moment for £10, but there is not a great range of colours.

Their supersoft skinny trousers are really really comfortable, very soft, and come in quite a lot of different colours.

Until about a fortnight ago I hardly ever bought anything in Primark as I never liked the look of anything, but I've been in a few times recently and seen quite a lot of things that caught my eye.

The spaghetti strap stretchy vests (£2.50-£3) are fantastic, especially the grey marl ones. The slub cotton t-shirts with the pocket on the right hand side of the chest are great too, I have one that's been in regular use for over a year and still looks brand new! I think they're £2.50 and available in black or royal purple ATM. Fleece lined tights are great, accessories are fine as long as you're discerning, some of the jeans are good for everyday wear too.
