Soft clingy tops for maternity wear and beyond...

Gurus of S&B, I'd like to invest in some soft, clingy t-shirts and vest tops that are quite long, to wear in spring/summer - I've only just bought into the skinny jeans look, so don't have any similar tops. I'm also in early stages of pregnancy so want something quite stretchy.

If anyone has any recommendations of good brands, they'd be much appreciated!

H&M did some very simple long vests with spagetti sleeve last year. Loads of colours and think they were only £3.99 each. I wore them all the way through my pregnancy (either on own or under outher tops) and still wear them now for feeding.

Very stretchy too, wore them at 8 months pregnant and they didn't stretch out of shape. Sure they would have fitted at 9 months too but didn't make it that far (impatient daughter that I have...)

Mothercare had good ones in black and white last year.

American Vintage t shirts (Jacksonville style I think) are a brilliant investment, beautiful colours and great slightly flared shape, perfect for over a bump and a vest, ideal for bf in (top up, vest down, no flash of post baby tummy).

They are quite expensive but wear well if washed with a bit of care. I wore two or three that I had pretty much constantly over spring/summer/autumn . Passed them on to a of friend who did the same.

P.S. sorry, clearly I have early onset of mummy-brain or more likely am just an idiot. I name-changed, and I'm the original poster, not just a random person thanking people out of the blue!
