Having hair coloured tomorrow so ............

I washed my hair last night, should i wash it again tonight or leave it? I usually wash it every other day. I only used a little heat protection spray after washing last night so its not overloaded with products.

According to my hairdresser dirty hair takes colour better as shampoo etc can sometimes stop colour from taking. It seems she may be correct asa although my purple is now much lighter I last had it coloured in august before my holiday.

If it doesn't feel dirty or smell then leave it as it is. A fresly washed scalp is more likly to be sensitive but actually very dirty hair takes colour less because oil acts as a barrier, yours doesn't sound like its very dirty.

I'm a colourist and dirty, smelly hair is the worst, I'm glad I wear gloves!
