Tell me I've done the right thing. Am a 14/16, reasonably busty so hopefully the XL should be OK? It's insulated, will I only be able to wear it when it's minus 10?

Aw, you'll love it Grin.
Well, I love mine, size 14-16, large backside, XL is fine. The arms are freakishly long (I am 5'6''), but that's actually quite nice when it is really bucketing down.
The Wakefield is not insulated, well, mine isn't Confused - I thought the insulated one was called something else??

WhyCatcher · 12/02/2013 08:11

Erm, well it says 'insulated' in the description, I thought there were two types? I'm hoping the arms will be OK as somestimes I do find arms a bit short, and I'm 5'8 (on a good day). This is all the fault of Mumsnet, would never have heard of them otherwise!

Mine is MN's fault as well Grin.

This is the Ellenwood which I thought was the insulated version of the Wakefield - it did not exist when I bought my Wakefield 3 years ago.

Yes,there are 2 Wakefields. The only way to tell them apart was by the detail in the description... and the price.

PacificDogwood · 12/02/2013 20:53

Gosh, how confusing is that - I am glad I know that now Confused.

You will love it, mine is in constant use and I never want to be without it. Honestly the best insulated waterproof. Combine that with Uniqlo Heattech and some Welligogs rangers and you have my winter wardrobe. Mainly thanks to MN.

Well, it's been sent today so I'll see soon. Just worried it will be too hot. But it was a pre-owned one and in the red colour and I knew if I thought too hard about it someone else would get it.
