Boots to wear with dresses

I want some nice boots to wear with dresses. I am short so they need to be below the knee and I would prefer them to be flat. I am quite girly in style so don't really like boots with lots of buckles etc. I've been looking but no joy, thought I would seek wisdom here!

I live in doc martens authentic wedges, I have a purple pair and a black pair. They may not be girly enough but I get lots of people saying they love them. I'll try to link to some but I'm on my phone so not site how I'll get on! Smile

m.schuh.co.uk/product.aspx?icode=1540137020 sorry I couldn't manage a clickable link! Oh so comfy, and last and last and last .

Last bloody ages too.

Moshulu do some nice flat ones. I had their simple suede biker boots but they aren't online anymore although they may be in store. They are perfect for dresses and not as frumpy as full knee high boots

They have some coloured ones here

Ooo I love those DM authentic wedges!

Knitter are they reasonably generous around the calves? (mine aren't very very big, but they're not slim either!)

Might need a trip to the DM store!

Well I'm a size 18/20 so none of me is very slim, and they're very comfy, so I'd say yes plenty of calf space!

They have quite a few different colours too, I'm trying to decide whether to get a new colour in the same boots, or a pair of knew high ones (the ones linked to after mine look knee high don't they? )

Fab, thanks Knitter!

They do look lovely - a pair in black will be going on my wishlist Smile

The other ones you mention look great too, and yes they do look a bit higher than the authentic wedge ones.

Must hide credit card now for the time being Grin
