Looking for trouser outfit for night ourt - tonight!

We're out for a a 'naice' meal tonight. Just considering what to wear but I feel it is too cold for a dress and almost bare legs so thinking a trouser outfit but this will mean me going into town this afternoon.

Not sure what to look for - am a 5'7" and size 14. Will probably go to House of Fraser due to their concessions.

Any ideas?

Could you wear a nice dress and knee high boots ( might keep your legs warmer !) I get really hot in restaurants, so i only wrap up for being outside ...

Or cigarette trousers, heels, nice top should look lovely ( i have worn this combo and it looked good, even though i'm a size bigger - and shorter - than you )
