I have this dress and I'm thinking of wearing it to a christening in March. The sleeves are puffy so a cardigan would look strange - what else can I wear to keep me warm?

I often wear a tight top with long sleeves under or you can drape a shawl/wrap so it is positioned over your forearms and hanging down your back if that makes sense.

I'd say a wrap too - in a bolder colour though ..

oh ! and i LOVE the dress !

Yeah, a wrap in a bold colour. Maybe red or hotish pink? YOu can always pop a thermal vest under it...

Ooh nice ideas ladies and glad you like the dress Duchess! Its a dress I've only ever worn for work in summer time but I can't afford to go out and buy a whole new outfit at the mo.

I'm pale with reddish hair so pink and reds don't really suit me - would a turquoise or green wrap go with this dress do you think? What colour shoes would I wear?

Turquoise or green would be great. Do you have a petticoat?

DuchessFanny · 09/02/2013 16:29

Red hair and turquoise would be stunning !
