1 dress - 2 looks. YOU decide!

Next week DP and I are off to a Michelin starred gastropub type place and are staying in a beautiful boutique B+B. It's our first night away together in 5 years (since DD was born) and I want to look super hot.

I've bought this and I love it. It's quite VW-ish.

So how do I style it?

Look 1 - Leopard print heels + red lippy + winged eyeliner + possibly flower in pin-up styled hair.

Look 2 - Pinky/purple suede t-bar heels + smokey eyes + wavy/tousled hair.

I'd go for look 2 but only because I think it's a little different and look 1 is a look that's done a lot.

Look 2. I don't think this is the right venue for Look 1.

Look 1. Just because it's more you. Look 2 sounds fab too but is more run of the mill.

Look 1 is totally me. How I love to dress and how I feel most comfortable and confident. Think I'll go with it

Look 2 was me trying to be more mainstream and grown-up and vaguely classy for once .

I'd take a quick look at the other guests if I was staying and changing there.

Our local posh eateries are as likely to get jeans and hoddies as posh dresses, or families celebrating grannies 70 th. But I am rather in the wilds.

I always dress up, because I never get the chance, but here 2 would be more appropriate.

If you are near a city with wine bars etc, than go with 1 if that is more you.

Whatever, have a wonderful time. I still remember getting DSIS to have the DDs overnight so we could go to DH's works do.

Posh hotel, sex, beautiful shower and getting changed in peace, make up, long dress. Adult conversation, dancing and child great breakfast and no clearing up. DHs lot are nice and let us have plenty of time alone. Bliss

Based on your profile pics, I'd say you can pull off #1 whereas most women couldn't, so I would have fun with it!

I instantly thought 1 because my own style is heavily influenced by classic 40s, red lipstick, vamp looks. Then I looked at your pics and you are so style 1. Sounds perfect for you. Have fun!
