Speak to me about lip tints.

I fancy what I think is a lip tint/stain which I see as something that colours your lips but doesn't look or feel 'jammy' like lipstick does. Am I barking up the wrong tree?

If not, can anyone recommend a brand?

vaseline rosy lips has quite a nice effect and good in the cold!

clinique stick is also nice but doesn't last long

I have a Benefit one I love (I'm not usually a big fan of their stuff) It's ChaChatint and is a peachy shade. There is a pink one called Posietint too. The Nars matt lip crayons are fantastic if you want more cover than a tint but less than a lipstick.

You're not barking up the wrong tree. I think a lip tint sounds like just the ticket if you don't like the feel of lipstick. The Benefit one is a classic but TBH, the Body Shop one is just as good.

I got one of these new Maybelline tints last week and I really like it. I think you can put on loads for a really pigmented, long lasting, lipgloss effect but that would feel very jammy. I just dab on a bit and then sort of blend it in with my finger. It gives a really nice wash of colour which lasts for ages.

Rimmel have just brought one out called apocalips, i have the big bang which is bright red. But its like a stain/lipstick its really nice! Im going to get the nude one soon

Ugh I HATE those Maybelline tints! I bought three and they are all horrible. Nasty smell, colour is gross, patchy.

If you want them, PM me and I'll post them. Pink, coral and purple ones.

I use the Bourjois hi-tech one but its been discontinued so I can only get it on eBay

Oh what a shame you didn't like the Maybelline Liptints stinkywickets. The smell is a bit artificial but I don't mind it. I really like the colour of mine (think it's called Lasting Pink).
