I have heeled boots to waer with jeans and trousers, flip flops and wedges for summer, timberlands for combats and trainers for working out/running BUT I have nothing soft and comfortable, pref flat to wear with trousers/jeans. See lots of stylish women in loafer type things but not sure, or nice trainer ish things but not too sporty looking.

Help!!!!!!

Birkies rule, are you blind?

Anyhooo, I am off now to the Post Office to queue up for dh to sort his passport out and waste my lunch hour that so he can waste nearly £800 going on a bastard stag do Angry.

I have made a mental note and underlined it and will spend an equal amount on shoes at a later date.

Pah.

I live in birkies in the summer. but have to get some flexitol first, have run out & don't want to accidentally frighten small children with my feet. i might go & get those clarks ones at lunch Smile

CountessDracula · 26/04/2006 11:43

Have black, khaki and brown ones plus the trainers

bundle · 26/04/2006 11:44

Northerner · 26/04/2006 11:44

MamaG · 26/04/2006 11:45

I reckon you either love birkies or hate them. Personally, I hate them but my sister things they're the best thing since sliced bread.

cod, grossamundo. birkies best left alone, not tinkered with. esp not chavvy swarovski crystals

Northerner · 26/04/2006 11:50

So are Birkie glam then? I always thought they were for butch women with beards.

OP posts:
Earlybird · 26/04/2006 11:50

Agree that most birkies are ugly, but IMO, they sort of transcend ugliness because they're so comfortable. Only have one pair though.

Bugsy2 · 26/04/2006 11:56

Get a lovely pair of wedgey heeled trainers!!!! (Only joking).
There are lots of nice trainer/ deck shoes in the shops at the moment. Not to clumpy & some subtle colours too.
Don't get awful, disgusting Birkenstocks. They look gross. Some women have managed to persuade themselves that they are attractive foot apparel, or they think the comfort outweighs the disgustingness of them - but they are so VERY wrong!! I am starting a one-woman crusade against Birkenstocks.

cod · 26/04/2006 11:57
