heated eyelash curlers - do they work?

Polka straight eyelashes and unskilled with mascara. Do these friggin things work and if so, who does the best one?

have you tried normal eyelash curlers?
heated ones just work a bit quicker; but you can warm up normal ones under a hairdryer for a few secs to get an idea how heated ones are better.

I have crap eyelashes and they do make some improvement for me.
