do you wear scarves?

and if so, what kinds and in what way do you wear them? I never wear any but I have a couple of nice ones which I have been given. Wondering if I should start wearing them.

Wear scarves all the time with pretty much everything. I tend to go for the oversized ones wrapped around and then tied at the front or if I'm feeling adventurous looped through. Have some lovely ones from Primark and have recently bought a couple of the Orla Keily (sp?) ones from Uniqlo which are much nicer in RL than they look on the website.

don't they come undone when you loop them? I have tried them on a couple of times but I find they slip about and that annoys me, and so I have never got into the habit of wearing them.

You need to watch this tutorial and then you will never be stuck again about how to tie your scarf to keep it in place! I love her!

If you wear big scarfs do you wear them all day? - I feel a bit over dressed in the office and cooking in them, but the outfit doesn't look complete without them

Yes - except in high summer. I don't wear them in the house though.

I wear them all the time.

Usual outfit for work is a skater dress and bright or patterned scarf.

I tend to wear the cotton/viscose/ fine wool ones which don't tend to slip as much as silky ones do if that helps?

I wear small, handknitted shawls, bandit style.

I have loads of scarves and wear one almost every day with everything. They have to be long enough to wrap round twice. Have just bought a couple of lovely ones from Sainsburys...and yes, most of the year wear inside and out. eBay is also good for starting a varied scarf collection.

Do you mean wool scarves or silk scarves? I've never had a clue what to do with a silk scarf - and some of them are so pretty .

yes, I think I need longer scarves. These aren't really big enough. Not sure what the idea behind these ones is, how you are supposed to wear them other than inside a blouse with a high collar but even then a bit tight tbh

I mean silk scarves or similar of any material really which you would wear with an indoor outfit (not the scarf you wrap around your neck when you go out in the cold). Sorry it wasn't very clear.

I have a big woolly scarf. Its just a big circle basically. Not sure if there's a name for them. I just pit it over my head twice and leave it.

I'm sat wearing now as it keeps me warm and it is comfy.

I also have some really thin ones with nice patterns. No idea why, i just collect them

ZZZ - I know the type you mean - have you tried folding in half and then having the V shape at the front and tying at the back of the neck (or as an OP ^ described 'bandit style')- I've got a couple of smaller ones that I wear this way. I wear fabric ones rather than thick wool ones.

they are silk squares, beautifully done but I have never found an occasion to wear them really, which seems a shame. I think I will look for a bigger one and play around with it.

THose of you who wear scarves a lot, what colours, patterns do you find yourself wearing most often? What would be a good type to get? I don't wear many patterned tops, so I could wear a patterned scarf.

I wear scarves all the time, all different styles and types. I tend to wear plain tops and patterned scarves, particularly animal prints.
