Help me style a body con dress in a non tarty way!

Just bought a body con dress in grey tie dye, it's below the knee and has 3/4 length sleeves - it's a great fit and the tie dye makes it look more casual and best of all was a bargain at £25! I am keen to go with the casual thing but I'm struggling with footwear, Havianas is as far as I've got....might just be a summer thing then.

For going out, I wear mine with high platform ankle boots (like these ), chunky necklace and clutch bag.

During the day I'll wear with biker boots, leather jacket, big scarf, oversized handbag. Lots of eyeliner also required (but that might just be me!)

Will also wear with Havaianas in summer too, love these kind of dresses as they are so versatile.

Wow those boots are incredible! Think I need to go have a play with some options - the biker jacket with big scarf sounds like a good day wear option.

I think there are lots of different options, just depends on your taste. You can make them look as dressed up/casual as you like.

I'm ecstatic that 90's grunge is back so I can wear them with big boots (DM's too) but then I'd probably do that anyway! I think it makes a very feminine dress (shows off every curve!) look a bit more edgy. I love these dresses, I've got 4 so far!

I got it in River Island - they have it in black tie too but the grey is more subtle.

Looked good with shoe boots for a night out and white single strap Birkies - which i know are a bit mumsy but great for walking around sightseeing all day.

A denim shirt would also work as an alternative to a biker jacket, would work with opaque tights now and Havs in the summer
