Oilskin bags.. Cath Kidson alternatives?

Took a liking to my friends new CK bag the other day and thought about getting one myself.

Been looking on Ebay and the more I look the more im not sure!

I quite like the idea of the Oilskin. My current bag is canvas which with the crap/wet weather we have been having isnt very helpful!

Anyone recommend any other brands of bags to look for? Ones that dont look like Baby changing bags! Im finally starting to downsize! :)

Louche at Joy does a nice oilskin messenger with satchel-like detailing in red or black. Would it be good?

Orla Kiely and Radley do some nice ones,but do look at the Cath Kidston website rather than Ebay there are some beautiful prints for Spring / Summer season. I have the Red Berry Spot Daybag and have had numerous comments about it since Christmas.
I also have Windsor Rose Day bag from last Spring/Summer this is also lovely

I've got a couple of oilskin bags made by Fossil. I really like them (once the annoying bunch of keys has been removed).
